Pastry apple rings

Back to school means also finding fun and healthier snack breaks for our kids. Inspired by Little Fooby, we prepared these irresistible pastry apple rings together with our mini chef. Crispy to perfection, with ultra-melting maple apples! 🍏🥐

Ingredients for the pastry apple rings

  • 3 apples

  • happy maple syrup, goût riche

  • 1 rectangular pastry rolled out

  • 1 tbsp icing sugar


  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Cut the apples into slices 1 cm thick, removing the center.

  3. Cut the puff pastry into 3 x 6 cm strips.

  4. Wrap each apple slice with strips of dough. Arrange them on the plate.

  5. Brush with maple syrup.

  6. Bake for 25 minutes at 200°C, until the slices are golden brown.

  7. Leave to cool a little and sprinkle with icing sugar.
